The taste of sake : did you know that...
1. The alcoholic content of sake is around 15% vol.

2. Sake appears in Japan at the same time as wine in Europe, i.e. seven to eight thousands years BC.

3. sake is often mixed up with chinese Baijiu, a distillate alcohol, stronger than sake.

4. "Nihon-Shu" is the name of sake in Japan, and "sake" is used for any alcoholic beverage.
