The taste of sake : what is sake ?
Sake is colorless and delicately scented.
Slightly more alcoholic than wine, sake contains half the acidity. Like its country of origin, sake can be sweet or dry. Experimenting and experiencing this flavor first hand is the best way to come to appreciate it. Sake can be served chilled or warm in tiny bowl called CHOKOS, or more typically, in small wood box called MASU. Generally sake complements a meal, but it can also be an aperitif, or drank with finger food called O-TSUMAMI. |
