Je suis née à Yokohama en 1975. Enfant, je passais tous mes étés dans le village de pêcheurs d'Izu, chez mon père. J'ai grandi près de l'eau et des poissons avant de m'en éloigner, travaillant à Tokyo, puis à New York pendant des années.
En 2006, je m'installe en Corse et retrouve mes liens avec la nature. La mer a tant de choses à nous offrir, nourriture fraîche et surtout la beauté d'un deuxième monde. Ces peintures sont l'expression de mon immense gratitude et de mon profond respect pour elle.



I was born in Yokohama in 1975. When I was a child, I spent all of my summers in the fishermen village of Izu, my father's hometown. I was raised close to the water and fish. Life took me away from the ocean, studying in Tokyo, then working in New York for years.
I moved to Corsica in 2006. On this Mediterranean Island, I again found my link to the nature, being thankful each day for what sea has to offer us, fresh food and beauty from anther world. I wish my paintings be a testimony of my great respect to her.
