Nakano brewery in Wakayama was founded in 1932 by M Toshio NAKANO, a specialist of the fermentation process. He was producing soy sauce at the origin, and began making sake in 1958. The competition was rude in the region with highly quality products in the neighboring localities of Nada and Fushimi.
