It is an interesting sake to be drunk cold but it reveals its true potential when heated and coupled with small japenese tapas called sake-no-sakana. Shuen becomes sweet and creamy! To accompany it, try small japanese fish tapas. It also goes very well with more classic things such as saucy dishes, white meat and of course sushis.
The Honjozo from the Koshinohana brewery. Accurate and fruity, with notes of well ripened fruits and dried fruits. It has a beautiful minerality and holds a lovely smooth structure in the mouth.
The easy to drink sake by far!
